As an honor’s graduate of the NAIT Telecommunications Technology program, Dave has worked in the telecomm industry since 1984. After several years of experience working for CTG and Mitel Corporation, he decided to move on to the challenge of working for a large Telco where he acquired his Journeyman’s Communication Electrician Certificate in 1992. Dave’s passion for customer service satisfaction, his innate technical ability and his desire to shape his own destiny drove him to become an innovative entrepreneur.
Melissa began with the Sceptre Communication just as the company was moving out of the owner’s basement and into its first downtown office space. She is thrilled to be a part of such a fast growing, energetic business. Priding herself in technical sales knowledge, innovative outlooks, creative solutions and a personal approach to business, Melissa has become a vital component to the Sceptre team. She strives to stay up to date with the pulse of the telecommunications industry and present businesses with solutions that improve productivity and reduce operational costs. Melissa looks forward to her future with Sceptre Communications and hopes to contribute to its success.
Before being a part of the Sceptre team, Jay began his journey down the technology path 4 years ago when he attended the Network Telecommunications Engineering program at Okanagan college in Kelowna. Jay has completed and obtained the Avaya Certified Solutions Specialist training. He has also obtained his certification as an Alcatel Lucent Certified Field Engineer. Currently Jay is studying and working towards obtaining his Cisco certification.
High Level of Concentration, Commitment and honesty plays a big role for this job. With my background of networking, able to quickly learn new technology and keeping myself up to date with technology, I have a nickname Quick Vik. Favorite Movie? ‘3 Idiots’ is the best comedy movie I have ever seen. Shows you reality in a way that makes you laugh. Pet Peeve? Traffic at McNightmare
Sheena is the most recent addition to the Sceptre team. She comes to us with a background of chemistry, and has dived right into the telecommunication industry. She has been assisting the Sceptre team with managing projects, contacting teleco providers, and contacting clients. On Weekends: Exploring the wilderness and going on photography adventures. Of course, spending time with family & friends is a number one priority!
Before being part of the Sceptre team, Edmond started his journey as a project coordinator for the Calgary Airport Authority New International Terminal Building. With his skill set in quality, project coordinating and an engineering mind, he is looking forward to becoming a strong and positive addition to the team.
